Ray Lewis No Longer Retiring?

"Ravens safety Ed Reed had a warning for reporters Monday: Don't be so sure Ray Lewis will retire after Super Bowl XLVII. That's the word from NFL.com's Chris Wesseling. “Maybe he'll play 10 games next year,” Reed said, according to Wesseling."

This better not be true. After all this Ray Lewis blowing I really can't stomach a Brett Favre like comeback. I respect the player (maybe not the man), but if he comes back after all the tearful goodbyes, and weekly tributes I am going to puke.

Actually in general the Ravens make me want to puke. Yes, I am bitter as a Patriots fan, but I am sick of them. I am sick of Ray Lewis crying speeches and Bible verses, and I am even more sick of Terrell Suggs and his big fucking mouth. Guy never shuts up, and why the hell does anyone listen to him? Do you guys remember this is the same dude that threw bleach on a 1 year old baby? Yea, lets have a whole Super Bowl about a guy that helped covered up a murder, and a dude that thinks it's OK to throw bleach on babies and their mothers.

I just feel like all the stories are about the Ravens, and I'm already tired of them and now (for the first time all playoffs) am completely on the 49ers bandwagon for this game, oh and the #4 for a combined score, because I got $100 dollar square on that.

Yea, I might have a slight gambling problem.

Jealous much.

I have no problem with Ray Lewis or with him potentially unretiring. He is one of the best linebackers in the game and I have enjoyed his whole career. I would love to see it extend if he still think he can play.

Also, Terrell Suggs may talk a lot of shit, but he backs it up. He has been extremely honest when it comes to his shittalking and it's kind of refreshing to hear that instead of the "Patriots way". Suggs also came back early from an achilles injury, and has been playing on one leg, thats pretty noble of him.

Another thing, WHO CARES ABOUT OFF FIELD STUFF. It's so ridiculous when people bring it up, what should matter to you is whether they preform well on Sundays. I love how Patriot and bring up all that shit, when they have made a knack out of signing people who hit their wives (Corey Dillon, Albert Hayensworth, Chad Ochocinco), have gun issues (Aqib talb, Hayensworth) and I'm probably forgetting some others. It happens, deal with it stop being hypocritical.

All those Patriots players I don't have to hear from. They shut up, and play football, and I stated this is coming from a bitter Patriots fan.

the ravens are loud and have been. That's part of the intimidation factor they have been using for years. Get over it.

I rather in football my defense be loud and intimidating than silent.

The "Patriot way" is not necessarily the right way.

"WHO CARES ABOUT OFF FIELD STUFF"

Can you tell DP loves Ben Roethlisberger?

I don't care how long Ray Lewis plays, but either retire or don't. Don't say you're retiring if there's even a chance you'll come back.

And having "gun issues" is slightly different than being part of a murder or tossing bleach on a kid. Just slightly. All teams have players with problems off the field. It's annoying, though, when they get praised as human beings (like Ray Lewis is being praised) and they're actually scumbags. I can't remember the last time ESPN talked non-stop about Aqib Talib.

Typic Rob answer. Its kind of comical.

As to the main issue and that's Ray Lewis. I think people need to learn how to seperate the player from the person. Ray Lewis is a legend and will and should be recognized as that, the same way Lawrence Taylor will. Its fine to be annoyed with media attention however, its the superbowl what do you want them to talk about?

I admit all my stuff is just coming from a place of hate. I hate them.

Suprisingly brilliant move by ray lewis if he brought up a potential retirement to rally the troops. I cant wait for him to be gone.
