Melo Banned One Game

So let me get this straight, a player can get chippy on the court, get a technical, wait outside an opposing players locker room and bus threatening him, however, that deserves the same punishment of a guy who bumped a ref and was joking with him and hung up a phone?

This kind of proves that the league is pro Knicks and Anti Celtic.

Carmelo is suspended for one game for acting like a childish baby. He let KG get to him and acted like a lunatic. I would have been fine with the punishment, if not for our PG getting suspended for doing nothing.

Before all you people who say Rondo is a repeat offender, Melo is too. Remember when he was on the Nuggets and punched a Knicks player and then when Jarod Jeffries looked at him he ran away? Melo has shown multiple times he has a short, violent temper, and should have been suspended more than 1 game based on his prior actions, figuring that's how suspensions are gauged now a days.

Either way this is BS.

Had there been an altercation outside the locker room and by the bus, I'd agree there should be a bigger suspension.

The Rondo suspension was something the NBA was obliged to do, because an owner complained and Rondo technically made contact with an official. That's something you want to discourage.

And weren't you the same person who accused Belichick of assaulting a ref?

This is the bad combination of blindly pro-Rondo mixing with blindly anti-Belichick.

Nah, the NCAA has my back. And so does Selig.

Rob, big difference between what Rondo did and what Belichick did. Rondo bumped him, but was joking with the ref about a flop josh smith did the previous play.

Belicheat chased a ref down, grabbed him while screaming at him like a mad man.

Even you can see the difference.
