Jaguars: "No Thanks Tebow"

New Jaguars general manager David Caldwell, speaking at his introductory press conference Thursday in Jacksonville, said Tebow, expected to be traded or released by the Jets this offseason, does not fit into the team’s plans. “I can’t imagine a scenario in which he’ll be a Jacksonville Jaguar — even if he’s released,” Caldwell said.

Jacksonville seemed like the one spot Tebow could land. He is a legend down there, and they have an opening at QB, not to mention they could really use the attention. Yet, it seems even they know Tebow isn't the answer to anything. I am really starting to think no one will sign Tebow. He is just such a distraction. He is a backup, yet he has a fanbase of a starter, and that really isn't a good thing for any team. I really wouldn't be shocked if Tebow isn't in the NFL next year.

If the price is right he'll be a Patriot. There's enough star power with Gronk, Brady and Wilfork that he wouldn't dominate the news and his versatility is the sort of thing Bill loves to have. He has shown interest multiple times in the past, but the price has always been too high.
