Patriot fan or not it seems like no one wants to take the Ravens seriously AT ALL. It's basically like the Patriots are in the Super Bowl, and this is just another bye week. Isn't this the same team that beat the Patriots earlier in the year? Isn't this the same team that came within one step of knocking us out of the playoffs in Foxboro in the AFC Championship last year? Isn't this the only team Tom Brady has more INT's then TD's against (since 2009)? Isn't this the same team that went to Denver and won? Aren't the Patriots playing without their 2nd best offensive player?
Listen, I think the Patriots will win, but I don't get the arrogance of this not being a game. The Ravens almost always play them tough. This is Ray Lewis' last ride, you really think he is going to get blown out?
Rob listed all the reasons the Patriots SHOULD win, and while they are all valid, I just thought there should be a counterpoint here.
I would be shocked if this is an easy game.
Patriots 31-28

I've actually heard a lot of people (even some New Englanders) who are taking the Ravens. I don't think everyone is taking the Ravens lightly, however, I think most of the people who have New England winning, have them winning decisively. Should be a good game. Ravens offense geared toward airing it out, which may expose Pats secondary. Patriots fast paced offense may expose Ravens age on D. 2 best teams in AFC did indeed make it to championships game, and hopefully it lives up to my expectations of a 4 quarter battle.
If I were a better, I would only take the Pats because they are at home. Baltimore could win this game.
Fortunately for you Bostonians, The Hoodie and Tom Terrific are taking the Ravens quite seriously.
