This Kentucky Wildcats team may be the best college team I have seen since the maybe Florida teams. It's dominant and other than a lucky shot in Indiana, Kentucky would be 23-0 instead of 22-1. With a starting 5 of Marquis Teague, Darius Miller, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Terrence Jones, Anthony Davis and with Doron Lamb being 1st off the bench, there is just no possible way this team will lose in the tournament, let alone again for the rest of the season.
Every single player on this team is capable of shouldering the load with scoring. There have been games this year when Darius Miller has taken over, Jones has, Kidd-Gilchrist has and obviously Anthony Davis has. And unlike many Calipari coached teams this team is in the 70% with free throw shooting.
Defensively this team is very active and versatile. I'll start with Anthony Davis who should be the Player of the Year. He's a game changer defensively he's averaging 13.5 ppg, 10 rebounds and nearly 5 blocks a game. If he was on any other team his scoring average would be 7 points higher, but since Kentucky is so deep he doesn't need to shoulder the load. And unlike many shot blockers, Davis has a mid range game and isn't just a pick and roll dunker or put backs player. Yesterday against Tennessee he opened the game up with a 19 foot jumper.
Every team this year in basketball (other than Murray State.... fuck them) has showed some sort of weakness whether it comes to Duke, UNC, Ohio State and Baylor, but you can book it right now, Kentucky Basketball is raising a championship banner after this year is over.

Free Throws will doom them, as always
