blake griffin might be the most overrated player in the NBA. everyone sees all the highlights on ESPN, but when you watch a whole game his impact really isn't that great. doesn't bring much defensively, and for someone with his leaping ability doesn't rebound all that well. he can't shoot very well, is abysmal from the charity stripe and his post moves are mostly limited to backing someone down mark jackson style and hoping he gets close enough to jump over them and dunk. don't get me wrong he's crazy athletic - but basketball wise i think he's limited at this point. if he doesn't work on his game in 5 yrs that leaping ability might be limited and he'll suck.

Pippen on Ewing was just disgusting. And Ewing wanted to get mad but he knew he'd been had. KJ over Hakeem is my number 1 though. Blake dunked on Perk, but that one was a 6' nothing PG on a HOF center!
Blake's was impressive, but I wouldn't even call that a dunk. His finger barely grazed the rim. A dunk is when you push the ball through the basket with your hand.

lebron's was certainly more athletic. blake's was a lot more violent.
i vote for lebron leaping over a 5'-11" guy.
I agree, I am starting to hate Blake Griffin

Can't say I have seen Griffin play a lot, but his team is 12-6, and he is averaging 21 ppg, 2 ast, and 11 rebs... Pretty good.
the dunk over perk was way better. yes lebrons was ridiculous, and both are some of the best dunks of recent memory.
but it because it was perk, who heavily contested the dunk and still got fucking shat on, the dunk is much more fun to watch.
i still disagree. to watch lebron jump over a defender, catch an alley oop pass, slam it, and stick the landing is pretty incredible.
yeah i see your point, and athletically i think lebrons dunk is much more impressive, i just like that the match up and how griffin dominated it.
Heard them say on espn that neither compared to dr. j on michael cooper. I googled it and it was pretty nice, but I like lebron's more.
haha wow yeah that was worth a look. cooper tucks away like a little girl at the end its priceless. least perk took it like a man
that is for sure. they were marveling at how dr. j cradled the ball without ever using his off-hand - at almost full speed.
