What's Wrong With The Celtics?

O.K., I know there have only been 11 games, and I know the Celtics are 8-3, but still, we need to talk about the elephant in the room here. This weekend the C's lost two games to both the Hawks and Pacers. Everyone can make excuses and look the other way, but the problem is simple here. We don't match up well against fast paced, athletic teams. The three teams that we have lost to this year have been the Suns, Hawks, and Pacers. All teams that want to run, and all teams that are pretty athletic. I don't know how we can fix this problem with all of our old players, but we can do is not play into their game. Against the Hawks, they tried keeping up with the them, making them tired and getting out rebounded at an embarressing pace. If they slowed it down, played their half court game, and made the Hawks play tough D, I guarentee we would have seen a different result. For the Pacers game, they just seemed tired and not focused. That is a terrible thing for a team to look like only 11 games into the season and sends up a red flag. What we do is up for discussion, but here's what i would do if I were the C's. They should play Rondo and Daniels in the backcourt and push Pierce or Allen to the 3. Put Shelden in the 4 spot (BTW, you see Candace at the C's game? She's a fox) Then KG at the 5. I would assume that would be our best fast break defense, and most athletic line up. Either way, let's see what Doc and Thibs can come up with.

Agree, but you wouldn't need to play a different lineup if the Celtics just played the game we all know.
