Stephon Marbury To Be Waived This Week

Several persons with knowledge of the situation have indicated that the Knicks are planning to part ways with Stephon Marbury by the end of the week. One caveat is the approval of Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan, who must sign off on yet another multimillion-dollar payoff for his NBA team. Marbury is in the final year of his contract, which is to pay him $21.9 million.

Much like Lane Kiffin, Stephon Marbury is probably excited to get the axe. He is on a team that is in a hurry to go no where fast and is working on creating cap space for 2 years from now. I believe Marbury can still play and I wouldn't be that pissed if I saw him in a Celtics uniform if we could possibly do that. I believe he is still capable of being instant offense while having good ball handling skills. Anything is better than Sam Cassell.

I can't believe I am saying this, but I agree with "The Mick", Marbury is a cancer, and I don't want him near your boy Rondo, or any of the young guys
